Mannequin
So Shrads, Purni and I met up today for the usual gab session... after ages actually... After spending a couple of hours complaining, gossipping about people the others didn't know about or did and commenting on the people who had come to Peppinoes, we turned to leave... Since Purni had parked her car further away, Shrads told me that if I walked with Purni, she'd catch up by her bike...As we walk to the parking, we see a mannequin outside a shop... What caught Purnima's and my eyes was the pose of the mannequin... Left hand high in the air and right hand much lower at shoulder level, we wondered what this 'female' was doing...
'Doesn't she look like she's playing shotput,' I ask... 'Nah,' says Purnima even as Shraddha agrees... 'Com'on I say... its either like she's playing shotput, we need to place an iron ball in her right hand or basketball (though I later realised volleyball made more sense)'
As Shraddha walks to her bike, Purnima and I argue. Purnima says, 'No way, it looks more like she is trying to give one tight slap to someone...' 'Logically impossible,' say I. 'The guy would be too tall the way she is standing... her hand is too far up'... 'It's like she is holding his face in her hand to slap him'...
She can't slap a guy that tall, I mean seriously, all the kinetic energy and momentum would be lost in the effort to lift her hand so high...
Since this is not really gonna get settled, Purnima and I return to the shop and take a pic of the mannequin...
So I ask you... (if anyone actually reads my blogs that is)... what do you think is this woman trying to do?

okay i happen to read this.... a few possibilities:
- If the lady is "Mallu" then she is trying to snap a coconut from coconut tree...
- If the lady a from "Russia" then a aspiring Tennis player (trying to serve)
- If she is an "Hobbit" (tiny people can be seen in Harry potter movie), then she is smacking a guy.
i wanted to go more but stopping at 3... i hope most of the commens are in line... :-)
